This is really my first attempt at such a project. Overall I’m pretty happy with the results considering the time crunch I was under. Yes there are some things I don’t like and would do differently, but overall It’s not too bad for my first attempt. Everything was shot on the Nikon D7000 and GoPro HD Hero and edited in Final Cut Pro X (iMovie Pro). I really need to do some more of these. Enjoy…

I put my D300 on a tripod and used the interval timer to take a shot every 30 seconds. The video came out pretty good. I would have liked to have made it longer with more frames, but I ran out of batteries. I used manual focus and auto exposure. I would have liked to have locked the exposure, but it would have been way off when the sun rose.

We’re both getting into automotive photography, and perfecting our craft shoot by shoot.

The video is not only meant to give you a look into our shoot, but to show you how we shot the images. We want to give you every technical detail on our photo shoot and not hold anything back.

We had a blast on this shoot and video production and hope you enjoy watching it as much as we did making it!

Right now we just have the video for the contest entry done, but we plan on releasing a series of videos detailing every aspect of this shoot, so check back often. I spent so much time editing this video, that I haven’t really had time to edit my images. I will post the final images from the shoot as soon as possible. In the meantime, check out our contest entry video!
