A content managed website looks like any other website to the average user, but in addition to its front end, it has a back end. A back end is a special area of a website that allows its owner to make changes. With a website running a content management system you don’t have to connect to servers, know coding and HTML, spend hours making small changes, have to hire someone to update your site, etc. If you know how to operate a word processor like Microsoft Word, you can edit your own website!
